Toronto is catching up with Vancouver as Canada’s most expensive place to rent

The cost of living in Toronto remains high for both owners and renters, with rent prices increasing. The median cost for a one-bedroom unit is now $2,500 and for a two-bedroom unit is $3,200. Rent prices in Vancouver and Burnaby have also risen, but overall, the rental market nationwide is expected to be cooler than last year.
